By accessing or using the logistics services, tracking engine, or quote tools of SmartCargo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our logistics facilities.
SmartCargo operates as a licensed freight forwarder and logistics coordinator under international maritime (IMO) and aviation (IATA) regulations. All cargo bookings are subject to carrier space availability, customs clearance verification, and compliance with destination border regulations.
Real-time tracking updates displayed on our platform are derived from satellite telematics, port gateway API scans, and hub check-in records. While we strive for 100% accuracy, transit timestamps may experience temporary latency during ocean voyages or remote border crossings.
The sender or receiver is responsible for providing truthful cargo manifest documentation. Any customs delays, import duties, or tariff assessments mandated by destination border authorities remain the sole responsibility of the cargo owner.
Standard liability for cargo damage or loss is limited to declared insured values or international carriage of goods standards (e.g. Warsaw/Montreal Convention for air freight, Hague-Visby rules for ocean cargo).
